If you struggle to get up in the morning, a simple device can make it a lot easier

not getting enough sleep

If you’re not a morning person, this could be right up your street…

Practically the worst start to the morning comes with you hitting the snooze button eight times in a row. Not only does it give you a bad sleep but will more than likely have you scrambling to be on time for work/college etc.

But more and more people are switching to light-up alarms in a bid to make getting up that little bit easier.

Obviously, the idea of a light-up alarm isn’t anything new, for centuries people have been using the sun as a guide when to get up.

Unlike traditional alarms which just emit a noise, light-up alarms or sunrise alarms as they’re also known by, simulates a natural sunrise in your room half an hour before you’re due to wake.

First a low power, often red light, will begin and this will gradually intensify tricking your mind into thinking it’s time to get up (we know it’s time to get up but sometimes we just don’t want to).

Users have been swearing by the alarms online, claiming that they originally set their old alarms as a back up a few minutes later but have never needed them so far.

Below you can watch a demonstration of a Philips HF3520 Wake-Up Colored Sunrise Simulation LED Light.
