Tesco also recalled batches of cheese on Tuesday.

SuperValu has announced that it is recalling a batch of cheese due to the possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes. The product in question is Wicklow Blue cheese (cut and packed in-store) with the following use by dates, 21/02/2017, 22/02/2017 and 23/02/2017. A statement by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) read: “As a precautionary measure, SuperValu is recalling the above batches of Wicklow Blue, due to the possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes. “SuperValu is issuing point of sale recall notices requesting customers who have bought the implicated batch not to consume it.”
