Jameson have come up with a simple test to see how stressed people are, so the JOE team gave it a go to see who's the most chilled and who is the most uptight in the office.
It's generally agreed by the boffins who know stuff about stuff that being uptight isn't good for you. So when we heard that Jameson had put together a test on their Facebook page, it was decided we'd all give it a go.
You can take the test yourself by going to the Jameson Facebook page at facebook.com/JamesonIreland
First to take the test was Shane Breslin...

Shane's result surprised no-one in the office as he's not the sort to faff around making tea and slowly settling himself before making his way through any given day's workload.
We could tell when Shane was taking the test as you could hear him cursing the computer whenever each part of the test took longer than a nano-second to load up.
When the results were in, it turned out that Shane was a mere 13 per cent easy going. This showed him to so stressed out that the test itself thought it had made a mistake and advised him to sit it again. But we know Shane and are pretty sure that the results are accurate.
We're not sure how to help Shane chill out, however we have downloaded some soothing whale music onto his laptop and banned him from going anywhere near the office coffee supply.
Next up was Robert Carry who scored a result of 29 per cent easy going.

While more chilled out than Shane, Rob's result didn't exactly show him to be in a state of Zen-like calm. Perhaps it's a good thing that Rob is a pretty accomplished Thai boxer, thereby giving him a release valve for his stress. We're guessing that if he'd taken the test after a session in the ring he might have got a more laid-back result.
Nevertheless, we've decided to make sure that the most stressed person in the office (Shane) and the almost-as-stressed person (Rob) sit on opposite sides of the room from now on, just in case their uptight tendencies cause them to rub each other up the wrong way.
Noticeably less strung-out are the two lads in the office from Mayo, Conor Heneghan and William Nestor.

It turns out that Conor is 51 per cent easygoing and William...

... is 50 per cent easygoing. Maybe there's something in the water that calms Mayo men down but it seems more than a coincidence to us that the two men in the office who grew up in neighbouring towns in the west have such similar results.
Slightly more chilled out is Emmet Purcell whose results came back showing him to be 56 per cent easygoing.

We were a little suprised at this result as in the past Emmet has shown an alarming lack of tolerance for dogs barking outside his window at 7pm at night and for small children in fast food outlets who insist on crying within a couple of tables of where he's attempting to enjoy a bite to eat.
Emmet does play a lot of video games, so maybe his stress is released that way.
His score makes him the second most chilled out person in the JOE office, although he's a fair bit behind the person who that accolade goes to.
The last in the office to be arsed to do the test was Nick Bradshaw and he turned out to be the most relaxed, with a score of 94 per cent easygoing.

Nick is the oldest in the JOE office, so maybe we just mellow out with age. Having now discovered how laid back Nick is, we're surprised he even manages to make it into the office each day.
Whatever reason, Nick is the most chilled person in the JOE office. We'd congratulate him, but he appears to have gone off for a quick nap.

Manosphere should be treated as public health problem – report
The “manosphere” phenomenon should be addressed as a public health problem with the harms it causes online tackled in a similar way to the tobacco industry, a new report has said. “Reframing the manosphere: a public health response to a commercial ecosystem,” was published in The Lancet medical journal this week. The most famous manosphere […]
