This university is actually paying people to eat avocados for them

Avocados

An Instagram influencer’s dream.

When did avocados become such a popular food?

It seems like they just didn’t exist until 2017, and now every single person you know loves them.

And why wouldn’t they? They’re fairly good for you, they’re tasty, and they go with basically everything.

And for some reason, they just make the perfect food to put on your Instagram story. Preferably in a boomerang, with a caption insinuating that you are on some sort of ‘health buzz.’

What we’re trying to say is that people love avocados.

If you’re a fan of the fruit (and yes, it is a fruit), then you may be very interested in this…

Originally reported by NBC, scientists at UCLA are recruiting people to eat an entire avocado every day for six months, to see if the fruit will actually be beneficial to losing fat.

And the brave guinea pigs will be paid to do so…

$300 no less.

The research is based on a smaller study that compared two separate groups on a low-calorie diet, with the only difference being one of the groups ate avocado.

Both groups lost the same amount of weight, but those who ate avocado claimed to be more full after a meal.

So if you know anyone interested in becoming a paid avocado eater, let them know… their dream job really is out there.
