We’ve covered Denise Ryan’s story before.
Having suffered from Lyme disease for a number of years now, she is trying to raise enough money to be able to go to the United States for the treatment that will save her life.
She has launched several fundraising drives in order to fund her trip, as she hopes to raise the €100,000 she needs to fight a particularly advanced and aggressive form of the disease.
This Humans of Dublin post in Denise’s own words has been doing the rounds and we hope that more and more people get to see it, and perhaps donate here.
