Sometimes a story is too good to be true yet in the case of Mario Balotelli, we're inclined to believe everything we read about the bonkers striker - including his own race track.
Although we read last week that the eccentric 21-year-old had stocked up on Vespas during an unconventional shopping trip to John Lewis, it appears as though he may have scooped up a few quad bikes at some point.
That's because The Irish Sun is reporting that 'Super Mario' has set up his own race track in the garden of his new Chesire mansion.
"Mario absolutely loves playing sport, whether it's football, swimming, karate or judo. But with the quad bike he has the speed too," a source told the tabloid.
"He's moved from an apartment block to a country house and has been tearing around now there's no one to complain about the noise. This is definitely something for him to do with the lads."
We should mention that news of a new mansion should be taken with a pinch of salt, as Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini last week stated that the Italian striker was now living in a hotel following an unfortunate spot of 1am fireworks lighting in his old abode.
Either way, considering we can't get the image of Balotelli firing red shells at his mates and dodging banana skins around his own Mario Kart track, we're going ahead and saying that this is a story so crazy that it's probably true.
