Unsavoury scenes were witnessed in Newcastle yesterday as frustrated supporters took to the streets to display their anger, with one in particular over-stepping the mark.

Being beaten 3-0 by your close neighbours is never ideal, but the scenes after the match were a throwback to bygone days, with 27 arrests after rioting in the city.
Following on from crowd trouble between Millwall fans at the FA Cup semi-final on Saturday, crowd trouble has come to the fore over the weekend, but this video of a Newcastle supporter taking his frustration out on a police horse is disgraceful.
A police officer was taken to hospital following injuries suffered from the violence and we would expect more action to be taken over the coming days.
