Including the brand new game from the creator of Game Of Thrones.

This is pretty much Gamer’s Christmas.

Between the Summer Game Fest this week and E3 next week, as well as a massive Xbox announcement day on the horizon, there is a lot to get excited about.

In case you need to catch up on what has already come this week, here are seven of the biggest new trailers and gameplay reveals we’ve seen this week:

ELDEN RING

The creator of Demon’s Souls and the creator of Game of Thrones have combined forces for this huge action RPG. On top of the gameplay reveal, it was announced that it will be arriving much sooner than anyone anticipated. Elden Ring is scheduled to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4, Xbox One and PC on 21 January 2022.

TINY TINA’S WONDERLANDS

DEATH STRANDING: DIRECTOR’S CUT

If ever it felt like there was a game that was already a full director’s cut, it was Death Stranding, so what he’s had to cut out to make this his truer vision, we’ve got absolutely no idea. Regardless, we now know that Death Stranding: Director’s Cut is “coming soon” to the PS5. Whatever soon means, we’ll have to wait and see…

JURASSIC WORLD EVOLUTION 2

If the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies have thought us anything, it is that trying to keep a dinosaur park operational without some of the creatures breaking loose… it is all a bit of a fool’s errand. That won’t stop us from trying though, as the sequel to the Theme-Park-but-with-dinosaurs will arrive on PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4, Xbox One, and PC later in 2021.

BACK 4 BLOOD

WB Games announced that the Open Beta will kick off from 5 August for those who have pre-ordered the game, before opening to a full Open Beta for all players from 12 August. The full version of the first-person co-op zombie shooter will then launch on PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4, Xbox One and PC from 12 October.

EVIL DEAD: THE GAME

Ash himself (or Bruce Campbell, as he’s known in real life) narrates this first proper look at the gameplay in the upcoming survival horror game. The game is currently scheduled to arrive on PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC later in 2021.
