Zombies and video games.
They go together almost too well.
Think of all of the Resident Evil games. Left 4 Dead. The Last Of Us (kind of). The Walking Dead. Dead Island. Dead Rising. Dying Light. Plants Versus Zombies.
The list goes on and on.
However, for anyone who has ever watched Brad Pitt's huge zombie blockbuster World War Z and thought "Wow, this would also make a great video game", we've got some good news for you.
While the movie doesn't appear to be getting a sequel any time soon, the game adaptation does return us the world of WWZ, and even goes a bit further, as the development video below tells us that the makers of the game decided to go back to the (awesome. Awesome, awesome, AWESOME) book for some of their set-pieces.
They also tell us that they have developed a unique game engine that allows up to 500 zombies to swarm the screen at once, and that any solo players, or those who want to go rogue and make a hero of themselves, won't last long in this world.
It is teamwork, or you'll be eaten before you've managed to aim your rocket launcher correctly.
World War Z is released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on Friday 19 April.
