It's time to step things up a gear with some indoor karting.

There's nothing wrong with a little bit of healthy competition between friends. In fact, it's essential. When that competition involves racing around at speeds up to 65 km/h in petrol go-karts, all the better. Located on the Killeen Road, just five minutes from the Red Cow Roundabout near the Long Mile Road, there's a reason why Kylemore Karting is the number one indoor karting arena in Ireland. Complete with three multi-level tracks that take you through everything from flyovers and underpasses to banked corners and hills, it's as much fun as it sounds. Even if you've never done something like this before, you'll soon find yourself mathematically working out what the best angle is to approach that last corner... The Grand Prix is a great way for everyone to get a really solid run at it. Starting with some practice laps to get you used to the karts and the track, you'll then each take part in a set of qualifying laps to try and rank the drivers. After that, the qualifying heats is where it starts to get interesting. Every driver will get a chance to start a race from each position on the grid, and the knockout stages are where the cream will rise to the top. After all, there can only be one champion who will claim bragging rights for the next 15 years. Whether it's a stag do, a work party or a Tuesday, you'd be hard set to find a more fun way to spend a few hours.
