It’s getting close to crunch time!

The Le Crunch Apple of My Eye Song Contest moved one step closer to the finals when some incredibly talented musicians turned up to perform at last week’s all-day auditions in UCD. The auditions saw them perform their chosen cover song on the day in an effort to gain a place in the top 10 semi-finalists.

Of course, you can still enter the Le Crunch Apple of My Eye Song Contest although time is running out. The closing date is 20 February, 2017, so there’s still time to submit a recording of your favourite cover song and give yourself a chance of walking away with the €1500.

What are you waiting for?

The five chosen finalists will perform in from of a packed audience in Whelan’s, with the winner getting €1500 and four runners up each getting €250. It’s also a great chance to get your name out there and impress some big names from the industry. Simply send us your recording on an MP3 or an MP4 to be in with a chance. There are three ways to submit your entries.

  • Email it to [email protected] with your file attached or a link to your YouTube video included in the body of the email. You must also include your contact details in the email.
  • Publicly share it on your Facebook page with the hashtag #LeCrunchSongs (we’ll contact you to get contact details if you’re shortlisted as a semi-finalist).
  • Post your video on Twitter with the hashtag #LeCrunchSongs (we’ll contact you to get contact details if you’re shortlisted as a semi-finalist)
