As sporting seasons go, this one’s shaping up to be a pretty exciting summer for us.
In a few short weeks, the Heineken Champions Cup final will take place at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium, in what’s sure to be a deadly weekend for everyone, whether you’re an avid rugby supporter or not.
To ensure the excitement can be felt all around Dublin and beyond, Heineken has some deadly pop-up experiences in the works, taking place right across the country with some amazing prizes up for grabs.
Ahead of the big event, they’ve created the Heineken Fanwagon, a fully decked-out campervan that will travel around the country inviting people to play fun games, enjoy some complimentary pints and (most importantly!) compete to win some amazing prizes – including the Fanwagon itself!
Kicking off this weekend, the Heineken Fanwagon will be making its first stop at Galway on Saturday 22 April, giving locals the chance to stop by and get involved in the Heineken Champions Cup final hype.
Running between 5-8pm at The Skeffington Arms Bar in Eyre Square, the event will be hosted by none other than rugby presenter and pundit Christina Mahon.
As with every location, guests can expect some free pints of Heineken and some fun rugby-inspired games that everyone can enjoy – whether you know how to deliver the perfect rugby ball throw or it’s your first time trying it out.
Everybody’s welcome to get involved, from diehard rugby fans to those who’ve never watched a game before. The only requirement is you’re up for a bit of craic!
There’ll be loads of smaller giveaways happening at each location but one lucky winner will drive home with the event’s grand prize – the Heineken Fanwagon! It’s the ultimate prize to get your hands on ahead of any road trips you’re planning this summer.
