Brian Dowling: I could never replace Davina on new Big Brother

Irish Big Brother winner Brian Dowling held talks with producers about hosting a new version of the reality show but admitted following in Davina McCall’s footsteps would be too difficult.

Dowling’s return to the Big Brother house proved to be a success this year when he won the Ultimate BB. He has since admitted meeting with the producers of the show to discuss hosting a potential return of the show.

“Everybody says it’s coming back and I’m hosting the show,” he told the Irish Daily Star. “I’ve heard nothing of that.”

“There was one meeting , a conversation about potentially the show coming back on a different channel,” the 32-year-old admitted.

“But I do believe that following in Davina McCall’s footsteps is not something I ‘d want to do because she’s amazing!”
