'One of the best horror films of the decade so far.'

A new poster has been released for Obsession, the upcoming horror movie from popular YouTuber and writer-director Curry Barker (Milk & Serial).

Heading to cinemas next month, the film centres on Bear (Michael Johnston, Teen Wolf), a hopeless romantic who breaks "the mysterious One Wish Willow" so he can win the heart of his crush, Nikki (Inde Navarrette, Superman & Lois).

Soon after getting exactly what he asked for, however, he discovers that "some desires come at a dark, sinister price."

Obsession currently holds a near-perfect 95% Rotten Tomatoes score.

The movie's "unnerving' lead performance by Navarrette, its blend of horror and humour, and the way Barker twists a simple, relatable "careful what you wish for" premise into the stuff of nightmares have been singled out for praise.

Some have even called the film one of the best horrors of the decade.
