And so on. Thing always get better though so don’t worry if you’re going through birthday blues at the moment.

Speaking of age (convenient segue), a survey of over 2,000 people in their 40s was carried to find out the age that people are at their most happy.

According to the results, the age of 34 is the happiest year for people on average.

That seems to be the age that many people cited it as the year they got married, had kids and/or made advances in their career.

It’s also the age where people are finally making decent money and can get on that scary property ladder.

People who listed their 20s as the happiest time of their lives said it was due to freedom and the social life, it is so live it up.

People listed their 40s revealed they were happiest watching their children grow up and moving to a bigger home, lovely.

People in their 50s listed the fact that work was winding down and that they were paying off their mortgage, pressure off.
