Adidas has re-released iconic Predator boots and they’re absolutely beautiful

An early Christmas/birthday present.

The start of the Premier League season always brings about a plethora of new kits and training tops, but there’s something wonderful about seeing a new football boot that’s the rarest of things, black.

Granted, we’re not 100% stuck in our ways when it comes to innovation in boots, but the classics are classics for a reason.

Following the return of the recent Predator Accelerator in the Electricity colour last month, adidas has now relaunched the classic that’s more in-keeping traditional ‘OG’ black-red-white design.

Thankfully, the new boots don’t break with tradition because they’re created to closely resemble the original from 20 years ago.

The only modern part of them is the outsole, which is taken directly from the 2018 Predator range.

For boot lovers everywhere, here are all the technical (boring) design details

  • K-leather upper
  • Fold-over tongue
  • Molded heel offers a snug fit
  • Boost cushioning in midsole and sockline

At present, the new range of the Predator Accelerator are priced at €330 and they’re available online from 23 August.

Be warned, they’re expected to sell-out quickly so don’t wait around.

Absolute beauts.
