WATCH: Al Porter is auctioning this jersey signed by the O’Donovan brothers & other Irish Olympic heroes

JOE

This is for a very noble cause.

Al Porter is on an unstoppable rise to the very top having only yesterday received an IFTA nomination in the Rising Star category. This is one of a host of accolades that have come the way of the young Tallaght comedian.

It’s nice to see he’s using his fame for good causes too. Al was a guest on The Late Late Show last week, as were Olympic heroes, the O’Donovan brothers, Analise Murphy and Michael Conlon.

ODonovans

Gary and Paul O’Donovan presented Al with a very rare Skibereen rowing jersey complete with that brilliant hashtag #PullLikeADog. The brothers signed it, as did Analise and Michael.

Al is now auctioning the jersey for a very good cause.

Young Killian Lawlor is a four year old boy from Tallaght who suffers from autism. Al is trying to raise funds to help the family buy Killian a therapy dog. He recorded this video on his Facebook page and wants you to bid for this piece of history in the comments section.

The highest bid as it stands is at €1,000.
