Amazon beats Shark price as ‘fantastic’ cordless vacuum slashed by 49%

The Shark cordless vacuum that's said to be the 'ultimate' for tackling pet hair has dropped by 49% on Amazon.

The model, Stratos Anti Hair Wrap Plus Pet Pro Cordless Vacuum is usually priced at €497.09 but is currently on offer for €254.32.

This is cheaper than SharkNinja's own discounted price of £249.99, so you can make an extra £30 saving on the Amazon website.

The Shark Stratos features Anti Hair Wrap Plus technology, which the brand claims delivers its 'best ever' hair pick-up.

This technology removes both long and short hair from the brush-roll while it cleans, and its Clean Sense IQ picks up 50% more dirt.

Other features include two brush rolls for different floor types, LED headlights to illuminate fine dust and dirt, and a Flexology wand which helps you clean underneath furniture.

It comes with a removable battery that can run for 60 minutes in ECO mode, and can be folded down for compact storage.

More than 600 shoppers have tried and tested the vacuum cleaner, giving it an average rating of 4.3 stars on Amazon.

One customer said in their five star review: "For the money it is a fantastic piece of kit a must have for pet owners and it’s great on my car too! The battery lasts long enough for me to get round my home.

"I get all excited about cleaning gadgets and this did not disappoint. My other vac is excellent as I have two German shepherds. But this is now going to be my go to when blitzing the house. The suction is fantastic. The IQ feature is a great addition as it does everything for me. I don’t have to use the boost as it’s fantastic for picking up dirt and dog hair."
