A grim return for Kevin the Carrot, to be honest.

Just the 53 days to go until the big one; Christmas Day.
If you haven’t seen the requisite lights, decorations, special offers, giant boxes of biscuits, costumes and various other festive accessories, better start getting used to them.
That was presumably the exact pitch meeting in the Aldi creative department, which has resulted in their seasonal advertisement arriving on Friday afternoon on, once again, the second of November.
This particular minute-long grim fairytale finds beloved/iconic/recognisable sentient root vegetable Kevin the Carrot and his bid to drive home for Christmas, just like the Chris Rea song.
Take a gander at his highly original, not-at-all-familiar truck, too.
Anyway, the twilight drive doesn’t go too well for him in the end.
