Conor McGregor had such a memorable 2015 that he was nominated in three separate Men of the Year categories. Having been narrowly been pipped by Hozier to the main award and by the Irish Special Olympics Team to the Sports Star award, he was bound to win one. McGregor has never been shy about his desire to look good all the time and his willingness to spend a lot of money to do so. As well as his confident attitude, his style has been replicated by young men all over the country in the last couple of years. Much like most of his UFC fights so far, McGregor won this category fairly comfortably, picking up more than half of nearly 7,000 votes and finishing well clear of his nearest challenger, Tommy Bowe.
