Dodgeball and Zoolander star Ben Stiller will appear in the new Arrested Development series
By Genna Patterson
Comedy actor Ben Stiller is the latest star to join the new series of Arrested Development according to Entertainment Weekly. Already signed up to appear are Kristen Wiig (Bridesmaids), Seth Rogan (Funny People), talk show host Conan O’Brien, John Slattery (Mad Men) and Isla Fisher (Wedding Crashers).
Reportedly Stiller will reprise his role as magician Tony Wonder to mess with Will Arnett’s character, Gob Bluth for one episode. Arrested Development returns via the powers that be at Netflix, with all episodes being available at once on May 14.

Each episode will be told from a character’s point of view, so some scenes will be repeated to gain context for the viewer. Originally there were only meant to be 10 episodes but more were added to fill in the story according to show creator Mitch Hurwitz.
The series is due to be a one off, with ideas to make a movie afterwards, although Jason Bateman has said that the series will have conclusions just in case a movie doesn't happen.
Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, David Cross, Jeffrey Tambor and Michael Cera will reprise their roles as the Bluth men in the series while Portia de Rossi, Jessica Walter, Alia Shawkat will be back to play the Bluth ladies.
Only six weeks and six days to go.
