Some of the finest dining establishments in the country were rewarded at a ceremony in Dublin this week.

CF Lennox’s, a fish and chips restaurant in Midleton in Cork, received the coveted award for the best takeaway in Ireland at the second annual Food Awards Ireland event this week.

The takeaway was one of a wide range of winners on the night in a black-tie ceremony attended by 250 guests and hosted by Pamela Ballantine at the Crowne Hotel Plaza in Dublin on Monday night.

Restaurants, cafés, bistros, gastropubs, caterers, chefs and suppliers from all over the country were recognised at the awards, which were chosen by the general public and raised funds for the Make a Wish charity.

You can see the list of winners in full below and find more information about the event on the Food Awards Ireland Facebook page.
