Heading to Body & Soul 2019? Be sure to check out The Enclave X MINI

JOE

Brought to you by MINI Ireland

The Enclave at Body & Soul 2019 will be hosting a series of interesting talks throughout the festival.

A few months back, MINI Ireland put out the call for collaborators, artists, designers, or anyone who shares MINI’s philosophy of Creative Use of Space to design a stage for Body & Soul 2019. There certainly was no shortage of entries, and the stage is (literally) set for the winner’s creation to finally be revealed.

With six inspiring talks set to take place over the weekend, The Enclave  at Body & Soul offers something very different to your average festival stage. The jam-packed schedule that covers everything from how we can deal with the housing crisis to what kind of architectural innovations we can expect to see in the future.

On Saturday at 3.00pm, there will be a talk by Subset focused on the Grey Area Project, a collaboration between multiple artists. Basically, they are creating works across several mediums with the aim to change the laws around large-scale public artwork in Ireland, and all proceeds are being donated to Inner City Helping Homelessness (ICHH).

You will also get to tap into the knowledge of some of Ireland’s leading innovators as well. From architects leading the charge for a smarter way of living to historians looking at what we can learn from the past, there’s something for everyone to take away.

David Kelly, Sinead Scullion, Cian Mc Kenna and Rachel Loughrey (also known as the BPA Collective), who won the competition, have been hard at work making their vision a reality. Those who attend Body & Soul 2019 will be among the very first who get to see it.
