He is one of many guests to take the stage during a full two days of talks.

Taking place on Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 January, the Pendulum Summit will be taking place in The Convention Centre Dublin.

Over the two days, there will be several key speakers, as well as a few high profile names, with the likes of actors Colin Farrell and John Cleese, comedian and author Ruby Wax, graffiti artist Erik Wahl, motivational speaker Nick Vujicic, rugby union coach Stuart Lancaster and loads more besides.

However, all eyes are already on the imminent arrival of politician Boris Johnson, especially in the run up to Brexit.

Described on the website as being “[r]egarded as one of the most captivating and controversial political speakers of his generation”, Johnson has been invited to the summit to tell his story:

“[To] understand his values and principles, his thoughts on courage of conviction, strength amidst criticism and opportunity in uncertainty – key traits faced by people in business and everyday life. This will be followed by a robust discussion on Brexit and the future challenges and opportunities that lay ahead.”

Considering that Johnson has previously thought Ireland was part of the United Kingdom, and entirely remove the backstop entirely from the UK’s Brexit process, we imagine that discussion will be very robust.

Johnson is set to take the stage on Thursday afternoon, but the full schedule, which will include performances by Hudson Taylor and The Riptide Movement, can be found here.
