Tickets are available now to the event with the author of American Psycho and The Rules Of Attraction.

The 21st International Literature Festival Dublin will take place from Friday 17 to Sunday 26 May, with plenty of speakers and events taking place across the city, but as part of a pre-festival event, author Bret Easton Ellis will be coming to Dublin for an In Conversation evening.

Perhaps best known for the Hollywood adaptations of his novels American Psycho and The Rules Of Attraction, Ellis has been considered one of modern America’s most edgy writers since his debut Less Than Zero in 1985.

His upcoming book, White, is his first work of non-fiction, and is said to be “a combination of personal reflection and social observation, […] determined to speak the truth, no matter how painful that might be.”

Ellis will be coming to The O’Reilly Theatre in Dublin on Thursday 25 April, where he will be discussing his work, as well as taking questions from the audience.

Tickets are priced €20 and are on sale now from ilfdublin.com, where you can also find all the information on the other events taking place at the festival.
