PIC: Canadian pub apologises for THAT pint of Guinness and makes it up to their Irish customers in style

Conor Heneghan

Guinness

The Canadians, a great bunch of lads.

Outrage might be too strong a word, but there was certainly a few noses put out of joint this morning, when pictures emerged of arguably the worst pint of Guinness ever poured in a promotional ad for a Canadian pub on St. Patrick’s Day.

We’re sure The Railtown Café in Vancouver didn’t foresee the storm they would create on this side of the water, but so far away was the pint of Guinness in the picture from what Guinness drinkers are accustomed to that there were more than a few disapproving comments.

Not if you were dying of thirst in the desert would you consider putting this to your lips…

All credit to the café, however, as after realising their mistake, they rectified it by posting a far more appealing picture of a pint of Guinness on their Facebook page along with an apology and an offer for any Irish visitors who happen to drop by on Friday.

This is much more like it.

Apology gracefully accepted, folks.
