PICS: A Canadian pub is trying to entice Irish customers with this very unappealing Guinness

Alan Loughnane

No, just no…

St Patty’s Day, as people across the pond in the US and Canada call it, is just around the corner and pubs are ramping up their offers to attract some customers.

It’s one of the busiest days for publicans in Ireland but the impact on businesses is also felt in America and Canada as Irish expats come out in their droves to celebrate our patron saint.

We’ve received countless submissions from members of the public who’ve not been very impressed with this pint being advertised by a cafe in Canada.

The Railtown Cafe in Vancouver, British Columbia have created an event to entice Irish customers into their business called St Patty’s Day at Railtown Cafe, with the picture of a pint of Guinness and some food.

Unfortunately for them, that pint will definitely not convince any customers to visit the Railtown Cafe on Friday… not by a long shot.

A contender for the most unappealing pint of Guinness ever?

We will say that the rest of their products on offer do look quite delicious, so if you can get over the disaster that is that pint above, it could be a great spot for some food if you’re knocking around Vancouver on Friday.

Cheers to everyone who sent this our way. Got a story for JOE? Hit us up on Facebook or Twitter, send it to our WhatsApp number 087-4001102 or mail [email protected].
