Sounds good to us.

As we’re sure you’re well aware, Dublin Pride is taking place this weekend, and there’s loads of really cool ways of celebrating.

For example, if you’re heading to the parade, we’ve got the route mapped out here so you know exactly where to go.

And if you are attending Gay Pride this year keep an eye out for a golden envelope that has a prize of a year’s worth of free taxis inside it.

Sounds easy doesn’t it?

Well that’s because it is!

All you have to do is find this golden envelope, and you’re sorted with free taxis for the year.

The competition is run by Flag, Dublin’s newest taxi app. Flag is the first app that allows users to travel and pay without a phone, card or cash.

Manager of Dublin LGBTQ+ Pride, Eddie McGuinness says, “We encourage everybody to look after themselves and look after each other. This years theme is ‘We Are Family’, a celebration of all families.”

The way the app works sounds complicated, but it really isn’t.

All you have to do is download the app and create an account. Then you’ve got to upload an ID type picture, and create a four digit pin.

Then, if you’re ever stuck for a taxi, you just hail one down and ask if you can pay by pin. The taxi man will say yes, you’ll enter your four digit pin, and then you’re on the way home.

Easy.

But it would be even easier if you won this competition and didn’t have to pay at all…
