Coca-Cola will not be replacing Coke Zero in Ireland after all

It's not happening.

Laura Holland

Thank heavens.

It had been reported in recent days that Coca-Cola were planning to phase out one of their most popular products – Coke Zero. Speculation suggested that a new sugar-free Coke drink would replace Coke Zero and production would be ceased.

Naturally, plenty of people were disappointed with the news.

As it turns out, Coca-Cola are getting rid of Coke Zero, but only in Australia. The change won’t affect us here in Ireland.

A representative for Coca-Cola told Her.ie: “The story refers to the Australian market only and there are no plans to replace Coca-Cola Zero Sugar in Ireland.”

Good news for Coke Zero fans.
