All the ingredients for a well-earned night out.

After weeks and months of zoom quizzes and virtual pints, everyone is back looking for more familiar ways of socialising.

Restaurants and many pubs throughout the country have reopened, but we’re all (rightly) still taking baby steps on the road to resuming something resembling a normal social life.

With that in mind, having been closed for a number of months, the Tullamore D.E.W. Visitor Centre, just an hour by train from Dublin and Galway, is now open once more and is offering the perfect opportunity to enjoy a brilliant and safe evening out with the launch of the Tully Cocktail Making Class.

The class is designed for groups of family and friends who want to enjoy an evening out, learn something new and have a bit of craic along the way.

There will be two cocktail-making classes per evening on Fridays and Saturdays, all of which will be limited to a maximum of six people and will strictly adhere to social distancing protocols.

Guests will be welcomed with a drink on arrival and then go on to learn how to make three delicious cocktails. Better yet, you get to bottle a cocktail of your own to take home to enjoy whenever the mood takes you.

What sort of cocktails are we talking about? Well, you’ll learn how to perfect classics like the whiskey sour – you can never go wrong with a whiskey sour – and also get a little more adventurous with show-stoppers like the Tully XO Daiquiri.

Imagine the look on your mates’ faces when you whip up that baby the next time they come around to watch the footie? Priceless.

The classes will be hosted by one of Tullamore D.E.W.’s brand ambassadors and cocktail experts, who will give guests the lowdown on the history of the brand in Tullamore and provide plenty of top tips on using simple ingredients to make great drinks, getting the balance of flavours just right.

Not forgetting, of course, how to get the presentation spot on, with or without the cherry on top.

The cocktail class will last for two hours and costs €50 per person, including the four drinks (one that you’ll be taking home), the cocktail masterclass, and a branded glass and cocktail making handbook to help you conjure up your own creative cocktails at home.

The tour can be booked online on www.tullamoredew.com.

If you’re lucky, you might even get it for free as the good folks at the Tullamore D.E.W. Visitor Centre have kindly laid on the fantastic prize of a free evening Cocktail Making Class for one lucky winner and three friends.

It’s a quality night out in an incredibly safe environment and all you have to do to be in with a chance to win is to answer the simple question below.

Best of luck!
