Cork nightclub plays a prank on girls that love high heels and it’s very good

Cork prank heels

Ladies, it’s time for those flats.

Etymology is a curious thing because somewhere in history, certain events happened that we’re still talking about today.

For example, the phrase ‘don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater’ is widely associated with the belief that in older times, the head of household would bathe first, followed by the men, then the women, then the children, followed lastly by the baby.

Out goes the bathwater and here’s hoping that the baby stays in! See, language can be weird.

On that note, if someone is ‘cutting a rug’ on the dancefloor then they must be an absolute God whenever they step up to the floor. That poor disco rug, it never saw those dancing shoes coming!

Well, we’re not sure that the phrase “reckless jumping and jiving have caused earthquake crakes in the surface” to catch on with girls that love their high heels, but we’ll give it a shot.

The Secret Garden Cork and The Hidden Attic posted a prank on their Facebook page that’s almost too believable for any girls that absolutely love wearing their heels while dancing. In fact, it appears that some people actually fell for it.

After sharing a video which showed some repair work being done, the club said that;

“NOTICE:  NO MORE HIGH HEELS ALLOWED ON OUR DANCE FLOOR.*

We currently are in the process of replacing our dance floor with a new heavy duty platform.  Over the course of this year reckless jumping and jiving have caused earthquake crakes in the surface. Unfortunately we have had to make the decision to ban high heels.

This Ban will come into effect from Saturday 19th 2018 at 10:47pm.

Granted,  we assume that there are plenty of women that would love the idea of wearing flats or runners on their night out this Saturday, but it is just a very clever prank.

Good news then for any ladies that absolutely love their stilettos.
