Fresh air, good fun and a chance to ride the teacups.

Disney Ireland and UK have launched a 24 hour challenge, encouraging kids and adults alike to be more active this summer, and providing a chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Disneyland Paris to those who complete it.

The free, family-friendly challenge can be done anywhere at any time, and encourages teams of families and friends to clock up a total of 24 hours of physical activity together between July and September.

52 “missions’‘ – which include such activities as Super Dance Off with Elastigirl, Super Selfie Treasure Hunt, and the Incredible Monkey Bar – have been created for families or teams to complete at any stage over the summer.

The missions are inspired by the Parr family from Incredibles 2’s superpower skills and can be accessed at 24HourChallenge.com.

The film has been destroying box office records since it premiered, boasting the biggest opening weekend for any animated movie ever.

To partake in the 24 hour challenge

  • Families and friends can create teams of between two and 10 people and set up their own challenge page on this website.
  • Those who log their time every week will have a chance of winning prizes, including 10 weekly prize bundles worth €85 each and, if they complete all 24 hours, a holiday to Disneyland Paris to experience and take part in the Magic Run Weekend from 21 – 23 September.

“We are proud to announce the launch of Disney’s 24 Hour Challenge as part of our Healthy Living Commitment which uses the power of our characters and storytelling, in this case – The Incredibles – to inspire families to be more active,” Trish Long, Vice President of Disney Studios Motion Pictures, Ireland and Marianthi O’Dwyer, Vice President of Healthy Living UK & Ireland at Disney said.

“The missions are designed to be simple, accessible and most importantly, fun, for all to enjoy together. We hope that families have an incredible summer clocking up 24 hours of activity together.”
