If you’ve never done one of the escape or adventure rooms, essentially it consists of you being locked into a room for a certain amount of time – usually about 2 hours – and you have to find clues and solve puzzles to successfully escape the room before your time runs out.

Should you be looking for something completely different to do with your significant other this Valentine’s Day, they can actually a pretty great idea for a date night, and one Dublin based version of the rooms have set up some Valentine’s specific puzzles for couples to crack.

The 5 Quests Immersive Escape Room on Bray Road in Dublin 18 have set up the puzzle for the day that is in it, which will involve you finding three heart-shaped tokens on your adventure, discover the secret Valentine’s box, and then solve the puzzle to open it.

Inside will be a single rose, along with box of Ferrero Rocher with your significant other’s name on it.

You can also get in contact with the folks before hand to leave in a special note too, for everything from “I Love You” to “Will You Marry Me?”
