Know anyone who’d be up for a trip to the zoo this Saturday?
Let’s be honest, Dublin Zoo is a fairly magical place to be at this time of year.
The incredible ‘Wild Lights‘ exhibition is currently underway, and is going down a hit as it tends to do, with loads of people attending every night.
So it’s not like we need to come up with reasons to convince you to hit the Zoo.
But here’s another one just in case.
To celebrate the 40th birthday of Sibu – Dublin Zoo’s legendary orangutan, anyone born in the same year as Sibu (1978) will get in for free and kids will get in for half price.
TOMORROW: 40 YEAR OLDS GO FREE! KIDS GO HALF PRICE!
To celebrate Sibu reaching the ripe age of 40, Dublin Zoo is giving free admission on Saturday 24th November to all members of the public that are 40 years old (born 1978) and half price kids entry! https://t.co/FejyVhndgT pic.twitter.com/zq71SpNHl2

All you need to do is bring any form of ID to prove that you really are of age, and that you’re not just chancing your arm…
Ahead of the weekend, Dublin Zoo said: “Bring along the family (and some ID if you’re 40!) to celebrate Sibu with themed arts and crafts, an extra special keeper talk, orangutan games and a fundraising collection for our conservation partners the Orangutan Foundation.”
