Dunnes Stores

Make sure you don’t have this in your fridge.

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) has issued a recall notice alerting consumers that Dunnes Stores is recalling a batch of poached salmon bearing an incorrect use-by date.

The FSAI is advising that anyone who bought “Dunnes Stores Poached Side of Salmon, pack size: 400g” can return the product to Dunnes Stores. The affected product can be identified by its use-by date — 19/2/19.

The implicated batch, which originated in the Faroe Islands, has the incorrect ‘use-by’ date of 19/02/19 on the front of packs and the correct ‘use-by’ date of 19/01/2019 on the back of the packs.

The FSAI has also provided a photo of the product in question to help consumers identify it.
