“Ireland! My second home.”

Paddy’s Day has been a washout for plenty of parts of Ireland today; it’s so bad out west that a weather warning for Donegal, Mayo, Galway and Sligo will remain in place until 9am on Sunday morning.

Model and actress Emily Ratajkowski seems to have brought the good weather with her on a visit to these parts, however, judging by pictures posted on her Instagram story to her 11.7 million followers earlier today.

Emily, of course, is a regular visitor to Bantry, where her father, John Ratajkowski, bought and renovated a farm house over 20 years ago.

She’s no stranger to the pubs either – she described herself as “more of a Smithwick’s or Bulmer’s girl than a pint of Guinness” in an interview with the Sunday Independent a few years’ back – so keep an eye out if you happen to be toasting St. Patrick’s Day in the area tonight.
