Paul Moore

The average total monthly pay is around €2,290.

Given the popularity of cabin crew positions in recent years, we’re fully expecting the latest job listing from Emirates to be an extremely interesting proposition for anyone that fancies the jet-setting life.

Aside from this, with a new year on the horizon, plenty of people might be considering a career change and the prospect of a tax-free income will certainly appeal to some.

Well, the airline have announced that they’re on the lookout for some Irish talent to join their multinational cabin crew team.

The application process will involve three open days that will take place in Galway, Cork and Dublin this December.

On the day, potential employees will have the opportunity to find out more about a career in the sky with Emirates as well as information about living in Dubai.

The Dubai-based airline is holding a Cabin Crew recruitment open day in Galway at 9am on Thursday, 5 December at the Maldron Hotel.

The company will then hold two further open days on 7 December. The first one is in Cork and it starts at 9am at the Cork International Hotel, Cork Airport Business Park.

The second open day takes place in Dublin where candidates need to be at the Radisson Blu St Helen’s Hotel, Stillorgan Road, Blackrock at 9am.

The posting states that the airline is looking for both women and men to fill these new positions.

The job posting states that cabin crew are offered a “very attractive employment package that includes a variety of benefits such as a tax-free income, free, high-standard shared accommodation in Dubai, free transport to/from work, medical and dental cover as well as exclusive discounts on shopping and leisure activities in Dubai.”

The airline will also offer concessional travel benefits to cabin crew, their families and friends.

Enda Corneille, Country Manager for Emirates in Ireland, has said, “This will be our final recruitment drive for 2019 in Ireland so we advise anyone interested in working as Cabin Crew with Emirates to try and make it along to one of these Open Days. It is a truly rewarding and progressive career and newly appointed Cabin Crew will be joining at an exciting time as Emirates continues to grow.

“Applicants will need to come prepared to spend the full day at the venue if required. Shortlisted candidates will be informed of timings for further assessments and interviews.”
