Brought to you by Bacardi.

Want to know how to make a perfect mojito?

The mojito is an iconic cocktail and a stone-cold classic. It only has a few ingredients but that doesn’t mean that you can just throw one together.

There’s nothing sadder than a bad mojito.

Fear not! Bacardi are offering you the chance to learn how to make the Original Bacardi Mojito from the best mixologists. They’ll be holding masterclasses at their upcoming Casa Bacardi event on 7 July in 1520, in Galway.

You’ll also get to catch a live DJ set from everyone’s favourite tunesmith, A.Skillz, at the event. Plus there’ll be gourmet food prepared by head chef Tom Joyce.

The event will kick off with a complimentary mojito at the bar for the first 100 guests. Well, you need to know what they’re supposed to taste like before you can make your own perfect mojito. Expert mixologists will be on hand to make Bacardi cocktails on the night and offer mojito-making masterclasses.

There’ll be a dedicated mojito-making station set up in the Snug to let you try your hand on the night. Everyone who tries the mojito-making masterclass will also be entered into a draw to win two Electric Picnic tickets.

Entertainment on the night will be provided by local DJ Cyril Bosco before A.Skillz takes to the decks. Expect him to have the place hopping with his patented brand of funk-infused floor fillers.

So you can enjoy great food, fantastic entertainment and walk away with some invaluable tips on how to make the perfect Bacardi Original Mojito. Sounds like a perfect night to us!

Casa Bacardi nights have carried on the Bacardi family tradition of hosting amazing parties but this will be the first time they’ve brought a party to Galway. For more information, check out the Facebook page

This is an over 25s event. Please drink responsibly.
