PICS: Galway-bound bus helps older couple change their car tyres in lovely random act of kindness

Rory Cashin

This has been a good week for things happening on the internet that are pretty much guaranteed to put you in a good mood.

Remember the little kid who fist-bopped everyone on his way to boarding a plane? Of course you do, because it was beyond cute and smacked a big smile on your face immediately.

And now we’ve got another example of Random Acts Of Kindness that is here to improve your mood.

JOE fan Sean got in contact with us to tell us this lovely little story:

A bus was heading from Corrigan’s Bar The Corner House in Banagher, County Offaly to the Galway races, when they noticed a car on the side of the road.

An older couple, who were also heading to the Galway races, had a busted tyre, so being the lovely chaps that they were, pulled over and got out and helped them change their deflated tyre so they could all head on to a great day at the races.

Once it was all sorted out, they headed on their merry way and all was well with the world.

Doesn’t take much to completely change someone else’s day for the better, not to mention make yourself feel good in the process!

Fair play to the lads, and thanks to Sean for sending in the pics of the roadside heroes.
