Anyone fancy a trip to Mexico? Just head to Xico this Bank Holiday weekend…

Mexico has never really gotten the credit it deserves. Without that beautiful nation, we wouldn’t have burritos, tequila, or tacos.

If you ask us, a world without Mexican food is not one worth anything.

Thankfully, there is one day on the calendar where we can show our appreciation for all things Mexican. Cinco de Mayo has long been an important date for the country, but in recent years it has really started to take off all over the rest of the world.

The fact that it falls on a Bank Holiday weekend this year makes it even better.

Cinco de Mayo fiesta at Xico

It’s pretty much always Cinco de Mayo in Xico bar & restaurant on Baggot Street in Dublin. With nightly fiestas, Mexican food and Latin-style cocktails, there’s no better place in our capital to experience Mexican culture.

On Sunday, 5 May, the Cinco de Mayo fiesta will be taking place in Xico. Expect great live music, Mexican food and DJs that are sure to knock your sombrero off.

There may also be margaritas involved…

To be in with a chance of winning an incredible trip to Mexico for yourself and a mate, all you have to do is purchase one of those Altos margarita. Then just drop your details into the lucky draw box and keep your fingers crossed.

The competition Thursday, 2 May until 8pm on Monday, 6 May. Plenty of time to put your name in the mix!

To celebrate Cinco de Mayo 2019, Xico are giving away an astounding prize holiday to Mexico for two people!
