“Everything in hurling moves so fast. Everything about hurling seems like it hurts…”
This video of American comedian Josh Pray reacting to hurling for the first time is one of the most entertaining things we’ve seen in a long time.
He opens the video by explaining how a number of his followers have told him to watch hurling, and now that he has finally gotten around to it, he is absolutely blown away.
He then asks why the people of Ireland have not sued Harry Potter, because of its similarities to Quidditch. Aside from the broom, obviously.
He says: “These Irishmen are moving fast. Every single one of them could get a speeding ticket with their feet… I don’t even know how y’all do it.”
The highlight of the video comes when he talks about goalkeepers in hurling, saying: “The first time a ball comes flying at my face… I’m calling the police, I’m calling the commission, I’m calling the President and I’m calling my mama.”
