We can't decide if this is disgusting or impressive.

When McDonald's pulled out of Iceland on October 30th 2009, in the midst of the country's massive financial meltdown, Hjörtur Smárason decided to buy one of the last of the chain's burgers sold in the country. Instead of eating it, however, he left it in its original packaging on a shelf in his garage. He opened the bag three years later and noticed that the food had hardly decayed at all, so he passed it on the National Museum of Iceland where it remained for another year. The last McDonald's hamburger in Iceland is currently on view at the Bus Hostel in Reykjavik, and is not expected to decay until 2020. Mmmm... preservativalicious... You can even watch it go of verrry verrrry slowly on this webcam. H/T Newstalk
