Know anyone who is about to get a big windy day named after them?

Storm Ali will be the first named storm to arrive in Ireland and the UK this Winter, after the list of new storm names that were chosen by the public was announced in the late hours of Tuesday night. The list - announced both by the UK's Met Office and Ireland's Met Eireann - features names chosen as part of the combined Name Our Storms scheme, which has been developed to raise awareness of inclement weather before it arrives. The names are used as a reflection of the nations, culture, and diversity within Ireland and the UK, with some particular famous people's names standing out on first glance to us - oh hi, Mr. Elba! Man's name Ali will arrive first, followed by a female's name, and then a male, and so on, with the letters Q, U, X, Y, and Z left out in order to comply with international storm-naming conventions. The full list of storm names for Ireland and the UK for 2018/2019 are as follows:
