This week we’ve got something for tech geeks, video game nerds, and stylish lads

Xbox One Titanfall™ Limited Edition Wireless Controller

Yes, we’re gaming nerds, we’re happy to accept that, and the four-eyed geek inside us thinks that this controller is a thing of beauty. Sure, you can go for standard black and be the same as everyone else, but our lucky controllers throughout the ages have all been some odd colour or another from silver (which we nicknamed ‘Silverinho’) to blue (Ol’ Bluey).

We’re sure we can come up with an equally brilliant name for this one, which Xbox, Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment have come together to make for the Xbox One.

Former Call of Duty developers Jason West and Vince Zampella are the guys behind Respawn, so you know that Titanfall is going to be good when it’s finally released later this year. It sees you free-running, jumping and shooting your way through action packed levels, as well as piloting giant robots, of course.

Designed by Respawn Entertainment, the sleek controller was inspired by the C-101 carbine, used by the elite IMC titan pilots of the Frontier. The controller captures the looks and feel of something from the world of Titanfall and is a must-have if you like the look of the game. You’ll have to be quick though, as it’s going to be strictly limited.

The Xbox One Titanfall Limited Edition Wireless Controller will be available worldwide in time for the launch of Titanfall on March 11, 2014 in North America and beginning March 13, 2014 in Europe.

Logitech X100 Mobile Speaker

We do love a good wireless speaker, and having smapled what the guys at Logitech and Ultimate Ears can put together, we’re expecting big things from the X100, both in terms of sound and design.

Speaking at the launch, Bobby Kenned said that “we engineered the Logitech X100 Mobile Speaker to deliver an intuitive connect-and-play experience. Its compact design lets you take it anywhere you go and it’s easy to wirelessly stream music from your Bluetooth-enabled device. It’s a perfect travel companion.”

Travel is fine, but given that we tend to move from room to room in the house still cranking out our podcasts or tunes, it seems that the X100 might be the perfect companion for us in the home too.

The Logitech X100 Mobile Speaker comes in five colours, grey, yellow, orange, red and green, all of which look very slick. Plus, its convenient micro-USB cable makes it easy to recharge the built-in lithium-ion battery so it’s ready to rock on your next adventure. The Logitech X100 Mobile Speaker is expected to be available in Ireland from January 2014 in Harvey Norman and on Logitech’s website for around €49.99.

Gagliardi Baby Cord Slim Fit Jacket

Winter is still here, but with it being January there are a few things that you can add to your wardrobe while the cold weather lingers. One thing we can’t get enough of is blazers and since it’s still so cold we’ll need a few extra layers, which is why we’ve opted for this number from our mates at Gagliardi.

navy cord

Now we will admit that cord has never really been our thing (even back in the day when thick baggy cords were all the rage) but this baby cord jacket is a nice subtle way to introduce a pretty versatile texture into your wardrobe without going overboard. The navy will match well with a pair of chinos, which you can wear even in winter, and if you’re feeling very adventurous you could even match this with a bold shade of red on the bottom.

Plus, it’s on sale right now at the Gagliardi website, so head on over and spruce up your winter look with a little bit of Mediterranean flair.
