Rémy Julienne is one of the greatest drivers that you’ve probably never heard of, but just take a look at his driving history and you’ll understand why he’s our Danger Dan of the Day.

We all know the legendary actors and actresses that brought our favourite action heroes to life on the big screen, but for the more technical and the more dangerous stunts, they were ‘replaced’, so to speak, by people better suited for the job.

One of the greatest stunt drivers of recent years and our Danger Dan’ of the Day is the pioneering French stunt driver, stunt coordinator, assistant director and former rally-cross champion, Rémy Julienne.

Born in Loiret, France, back on April 17, 1930, Rémy is probably best known for his destructive, high-speed chase scenes that have featured in numerous Hollywood blockbusters over the years. His most famous of which were the iconic Italian Job, along with six James Bond movies: GoldenEye, Licence to Kill, The Living Daylights, A View to a Kill, Octopussy and For Your Eyes Only (just to name a few).

Some might argue that Rémy is more like the real James Bond than Moore, Connery, Brosnan, Craig, Lazenby and Dalton all combined, and do you know what? They wouldn’t be wrong.
