Pub

Gather your friends that are pub experts.

With the weather looking somewhat decent for the Paddy’s weekend, we’re fairly certain that plenty of people will be out and about at the various parades around the country.

However, there’s also the small matter of Wales vs Ireland, the AIB club championship finals, Fulham vs Liverpool, Wolves vs Manchester United, and the rest of the FA Cup fixtures.

Basically, it’s a good weekend to be in the pub and if you’ve ever fancied yourself as a publican, Guinness have the perfect competition for you.

Basically, you and your mates can get your hands on the keys to Joseph McHugh’s Pub, Co. Clare Ireland for 48 hours – house rules apply!

What would you do if you had a chance to run a pub for a weekend? Well, this is your chance to test the theory.

Aside from this, the pub will also be renamed to suit your own name for the weekend.

If you’re worried about your ability to pour the perfect pint, there’s going to be a Guinness Beer Expert to show you how it’s done. Aside from this, a chef will also be there to whip up some great tasting beer and food menus. Tunes will be supplied by a DJ to keep the craic going.

In case you’re living abroad, you’ll be pleased to know that Guinness are also offering flights and travel costs.

To enter the competition, wannabe publicans are invited to register their interest here.

Aside from the various other conditions, the competition is only open to legal residents of the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, USA, Great Britain, Germany, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, South Korea, Australia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Singapore.

Participants must be 25 years or older.

Best of luck!
