The bar has been set. Mule this one over.
Now that we’re living in a world where GAA jerseys are acceptable fashion that’s being modelled in swanky magazines, it appears that Derek Zoolander’s Derelicte fashion line is edging ever closer.
Here, if people want to pay for rubbish, like, actual rubbish, let them do it. A fool and their money, eh?
This being said, we’re very much in favour of donkeys wearing trousers because, well, it’s donkeys wearing trousers. What’s not to like?
In an interview with CTVNews.ca, Sheila Zanyk, a volunteer at the Donkey Sanctuary Of Canada, was more than happy to talk about this stylish getup that Ben the donkey was sporting.
As you can see below, he’s rocking a pair of trousers but there’s a practical reason for this fetching attire, it’s to stop the flies from bothering him.
“It took a few tries but it’s working well now. The first time we put them on him, he was really proud of himself. He walked around the whole barnyard – just “look at me, look at me,”’ she tells CTVNews.ca.
Yep, the donkey is a poser.
Zanyk also said that the sound of the velcro originally frightened Ben but he’s over that. In fact, he now has two pairs of trousers that he’ll be wearing over the summer months.
Here’s hoping he doesn’t rip the ass out of his new trousers.
