The Gardaí on the beat have received a lot of good press in the last few months due to their positive interactions with the public.
First we had the dancing Garda at Africa Day 2018 down in Waterford, who wowed the people with his dance moves.
Then we had a few members of An Garda Síochána being unbelievably sound to a young music fan at Taylor Swift in Croke Park, so whatever they’re doing, it seems to be working for them.
And now we’ve the most traditional of them all, a Garda jiving with not one but two women down at Summerfest in Carlow, while Nathan Carter plays in the background.
We don’t like saying this, but we’re not sure if it gets any more Irish than this…
