It is no secret that Irish folk in particular can be particularly negligent towards taking the necessary precautions when it comes to skin protection from the sun. This can have painful effects in the short-term, but it can also have a serious impact further down the line with the threat of those UV rays. Nivea’s Protect and Refresh Invisible Cooling Mist, is just that. It’s invisible, with a watery consistency, and has a nice minty aftermath smell. While this may not seem like a big deal on the outset, considering that most products of a similar ilk reek of a nasty sunblock, it is a big plus in our eyes. Protect & Refresh Invisible Cooling Mist has a pleasurable cooling effect that leaves your skin refreshed and with a silky skin feel. It's easily applied: the transparent, non-greasy spray is quickly absorbed and leaves no white marks on your skin. It sprays without repeated pumping and from all angles. The pleasant application is combined with a highly effective UVA/UVB protection system. The product also comes in a CFC- Free aerosol can and does not contain the likes of Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide, Avobenzone, which in a nutshell, are not the best for your health. The product gets our seal of approval, similar to the after-shave balm we looked at last week. Now if only that sun would just come out…
