“Now people in the Shtates know who I am.” The Viper announces that he’s finally made it

Conor Heneghan

The Hardy Bucks and Republic of Telly star says he believes he’s finally a “big wig” on the world stage of hard-hitting news journalism.

In the week he officially he launched vipersview.com, satirical news reader and actor The Viper, AKA Francis Higgins, claims he has “made it” after interest from the United States in the Viper’s View video series.

With 11 episodes still to go in the first series, the show, which is published on RT UK’s YouTube channel each Thursday and comprises the week’s most outrageous and completely made up news items, reached 1 million hits this week and has been shared over 3,000 times since its launch.

Speaking exclusively to his production team in the office toilets over the hand basin, The Viper said: “Lads, I came from Castletown… and I’m still there, but now people in the Shtates know who I am thanks to social media and what not. So I’d better shtart mixing with better folks than you baes.”

The comments came under fire as he began sacking the closest members of his team, but one team member claimed The Viper realised he still had a show to deliver and backtracked, saying his actions were a “bit of craic”.

In this week’s Viper’s View, The Viper gets himself a seat on a space rocket, heckles Cock Suckerberg, and opens up about his internet addiction.
